Blonay-Chamby Museum
The Blonay-Chamby Railway Museum has undoubtedly one of the most beautiful collections of historic metric gauge engines in Europe.
Located at the Blonay-Chamby railway terminal, the museum with the same name lets visitors admire over sixty engines and carriages exhibited in two large halls and at Chaulin.
A handful of enthusiastic volunteers maintain and restore this important rail fleet. Apart from the exhibition as such, the museum and its collaborators attempt to pass their knowledge and their passion for steam-related technologies on to their visitors, especially to the younger public.
Located in a convivial setting with a splendid view of Lake Geneva, Gramont and Dents-du-Midi, the Panoramique Café (open Saturdays and Sundays from May to October) is an ideal place to have a drink and to get sustenance: cold snacks, various hot meals and a special children’s menu.
