Montreux Volley Masters
Each year, the Montreux Volley Masters offers its loyal spectators a great show, by getting together the world's eight best women's volleyball teams on the shores of Lake Geneva .
For several years now, the event has enjoyed a renown far beyond the Swiss borders. In order to put on the best spectacle, the Montreux Volley Masters is played according to its much appreciated formula: a preliminary phase with eight teams competing in two groups, followed by the traditional semi-finals and grand final at the end of the week.
In parallel with the professional tournament, the Montreux Volley Masters also organises the largest youth sporting gathering in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, bringing together no less than 1,300 youngsters within the framework of the mini-volley encounters. Year after year, the Montreux Volley Masters offers a high quality event and continues to provide a warm and friendly welcome both to the athletes and spectators in the purest of sporting spirits.
