The VMCV network comprises 9 bus routes totalling 78.95 km and 270 bus stops. The network serves around 65,000 inhabitants, living in some fifteen communes. The 50 buses and other vehicles carry 20,000 passengers each day. 

The network’s backbone is both geographically and historically, trolleybus route n° 1, linking the Vevey-Funicular to Villeneuve via La Tour-de-Peilz, Clarens, Montreux and Chillon; geographically because the other routes are connected to it, and historically it was the network’s first route, as a tramway from 1888 to 1955, then trolleybus until today.
