Les Diablerets
Located in the Alps of the Lake Geneva Region, les Diablerets banks on a wide range of winter sports such as skiing, backcountry skiing, sledging, ice skating or curling, which can be practised from the village up to Glacier 3000, at an altitude of 3,000 meters.
Les Diablerets village (1,200 m.), nestled in the Alps of the Lake Geneva Region, offers three ski areas: Isenau, ideal for families, children and beginners; Meilleret, with “blue” (easy) and “red” (average difficulty) runs; this sector is therefore adapted to good skiers. The choice of runs is varied, as it offers the possibility of connecting to Villars-Gryon. The Glacier 3000 ski area includes 10 installations and 25 km of runs at altitudes ranging from 3,000 to 1,350 meters. The Combe d’Audon slope is one of the longest and most demanding of the area, a challenge for any skier.
With its Monsterpark, Glacier 3000 is one of the only places to provide a very good snow park as early as October/November. According to experts the snow park at Glacier 3000 is one of the best at that time of year. Its 3 runs of various levels and its Big Mama will set every snowboarder and free skier’s heart beating a little faster.
In the Meilleret area sledge lovers can take advantage of the 7.2 km-long natural run day or night, with thrills guaranteed. Next to the Meilleret chair lift is the Fun Park with its sledge lift, a great place for families.
Nature at les Diablerets can be discovered on snowshoes, particularly along its 5 marked-out paths offering walks of from 1 to 3 hours. Ice skating and curling can be practised at the Sports Park with its indoor and outdoor rinks.
Families will especially appreciate the winter sports offers at les Diablerets, all the more so as children under 9 are admitted free on the ski lifts as well as in some lodgings.
